Let’s board a catamaran and sail to one of the most beautiful archipelagos of Madagascar: the Radama. The Radama islands hide extraordinary treasures: basalt organs, coral islands, mangrove forests, fabulous lagoons, colorful and rich seabeds … We will take the time to meet the local people as we stop in some pretty little villages of fishermen nestled in the bottom of small wild bays.
Then, we will go to the only Relais & Châteaux of the Big Island: Anjajavy.

Flight to Nosy Be. Reception at the airport of Nosy Be and transfer by car to the crater harbour. Boarding and we will go directly to Nosy Tanikely Marine Reserve. Equipped with masks, fins and snorkels, we will take the time to explore the extraordinary seabed of the lagoon. Lunch on board, then sailing to the Russians Bay. Stunning place of anchorage.

Departure early in the morning for a two-and-a-half-hour sailing to reach the islands of Nosy Iranja, 2 islands connected by a sumptuous white sand bank. Grounding and discovery of the village, walk to the lighthouse. Kayaking, snorkeling in the turquoise waters and farniente. Lunch on board. Departure at 4.00pm for a one-hour boat trip to join Baramahamay’s stunning anchorage, a long arm of river very protected and nestled between a primary forest and mangroves.

After a good breakfast on board, we will go ashore to visit an authentic fishermen’s village. An extraordinary moment of encounters and discovery of a way of life that is in total communion with nature and the sea. We will then leave in the middle of the morning to join Nosy Kalakajoro, the first island of the splendid archipelago of Radama. We will get to a very beautiful beach. Lunch. Afternoon discovery of the island, swimming, kayaking or snorkeling.

Two-and-a-half-hour sailing towards the island of Antanimora, up to the coral barrier, ideal place for troll fishing. We will spend the rest of the day swimming, snorkeling and lazing around in this magical place.

Departure at 7.30 am for the private island of Nosy Saba, 2h30 to reach the beautiful beach of the southeast tip of the island. Snorkeling and kayaking in the lagoon, depending on your desires. Lunch on board. Then, 3-hour drive to the old prison of Nosy Lava.

Departure from 7am for a sailing day, alternating regular and motor sailing.
We will take advantage of these 6h30 to fish along the coast. At lunchtime, we will get to the fabulous bay of Moramba, also called the Malagasy bay of Along. Surreal and sublime landscapes, incredible vegetation and improbable baobab trees fixed on volcanic mushrooms.

We will spend the day in this magical place. The Bay of Moramba has a breathtaking natural beauty. This very particular ecosystem is composed of limestone islands (or Tsingy), covered with baobab forest. There, we can find some endemic bird species and lemurs cattas. Beautiful kayak tours planned in the bay.

Breakfast and departure around 08:30. Reach the very private hotel of Anjajavy, unique ” Relais and Châteaux ” of Madagascar. End of the cruise on the Anjajavy side where we will stay in the one and only Relais Châteaux de Madagascar. Check-in at the hotel.

Anjajavy Hotel has set up discreet paths leading to the 7 coves near the hotel: you will often be left alone to enjoy the Mozambique Channel and the distant ballet of the triangular sailing canoes.
