* Whale safari: the MUST – DO activity in Sainte Marie from July to September. You will go for a whale watching with the ecovolunteers of Cetamada, the local NGO which protects and study these mammals. You’ll be part of an international whale study: what an experience !
* Guided tours: Sainte Marie Island was home for pirates, centuries ago. Cross bones and skulls are engraved on their graveyard. Encounter its various amazing landscapes as well: forests, rice fields, mangroves, small villages and of course beaches. Don’t miss the visit to Clipper Bay and Coco Bay, two beautiful and secluded beaches which belong to the Lodge.
*SPA: its unusual architecture is designed like the traditional African houses. The circular roof collects rainwater which is used in the treatments. Mother Nature is Queen here. Enjoy unforgettable experience in its restoring citrus bath or the body scrub exclusively made with wild honey.
*Water sports: Don’t leave Sainte Marie without enjoying the coral reef and the lagoon! Free equipments are provided at the lodge: paddle, canoe kayak and snorkeling equipments. The Princesse Bora Lodge is also a paradise for fish gamers and water-ski lovers.
*Diving: the lodge has its own diving center. It is also an oceanic research center. So, get assured: all instructors are PADI qualified. Why not learn to dive then?
