Miavana Island Sanctuary is an ecolodge of luxurious standard. It was built on the private island of Nosy Ankao, the largest of an archipelago of four islands on the Northeast coast of Madagascar. The island is accessible by plane, a 30-minute flight from Antsiranana, which is also called Diégo-Suarez, the nearest airport. Nosy Ankao is part of a protected marine reserve of over 15,000 hectares and has an exceptional view of the Indian Ocean and the heights of the eastern part of the island. The Ecolodge has 14 villas in total: 08 one-bedroom villas, 4 two-bedroom villas and two three-bedroom villas. Spacious and luxurious, each room has a private bathroom, air conditioning, a minibar, a safe, a private pool and stunning views of the beach.
