The Scented Isle: ylang-ylang, beaches and emerald waters off the North.
Nosy Be is the great island of the Northwest, set on a warm, translucent sea. Here you travel between ylang-ylang and sugarcane plantations, fishing villages, and beaches that change color with the tide.
It is also the starting point for boat trips: Nosy Iranja and its sandbank linking two islets, Nosy Komba and its lemurs, and the Nosy Tanikely marine reserve for snorkeling.
