Antananarivo → Andasibe National Park → Andasibe → Palmarium Reserve and Aye-Aye Island → Palmarium → Tana → Sainte Marie
The call of the indri at dawn, in the island's most accessible forest.
Three and a half hours’ drive from Tana, Andasibe is the easiest gateway to Madagascar’s rainforest. At daybreak, the call of the indri — the largest of the lemurs — carries for miles.
The Analamazaotra and Mantadia reserves can be explored in half a day: indris, sifakas, chameleons and orchids, on well-marked trails that are also suitable for children.
